Managing Payment Methods

Customize payment methods in Zanda to reflect your preferred payment processors. Add or remove methods like PayPal and Direct Debit.

When you start a Zanda account, it automatically includes a variety of standard manual payment methods, such as Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, etc. You also have the flexibility to customize your payment options by adding or removing methods that suit your business needs, including Outside Terminals, Direct Debit, and PayPal and others.

Here's how you add a new payment method:

  1. Go to Settings > Payments > Payment Methods
  2. Click "Add payment method" to add a new one.

 

3. Add the new payment method item name and save it.


To remove a payment method from the active list

1. Navigate to Settings > Payments > Payment Methods

2. Find the payments method in the list and click on it to edit

3. Turn off the Active: switch

4. Click Save. 

 This will remove the method from the list of payment methods when you add payments to invoices. 


To make an inactive payment method active

1. Navigate to Settings > Payments > Payment Methods

2. Turn on the 'Show Inactive' switch

3. The inactive payment methods will be visible on the list as greyed-out. Find the payment method you want to make active and click on its name to edit.

4. Turn on the Active switch

5. Click Save. 

 This will add the method back to the list of available payment methods when you add payments to invoices.
