What's changing with the pricing?
In April 2026, Zanda will be discontinuing our Legacy pricing plans and all customers will move to the new, value-based pricing model that better matches the size and usage of each practice.
For some customers, this will mean higher fees, while for others, pricing will be lower.
The key differences are:
- Plans for Different Stages: The Starter Plan supports solo practitioners with less than 1,000 appointments, while the Growth Plan provides extra capacity as practices expand.
- Per-Practitioner Pricing Tiers: For larger practices, pricing is now aligned to the number of practitioners. This makes the structure more value-based, flexible, and fair - without the big jumps between plans.

🔸 Why is Zanda changing its pricing now?
Since launching in 2010, our mission has been clear: to make running health practices easier and more enjoyable. It’s been more than five years since our last price adjustment - and even then not many practices were impacted. During that time, operating costs have increased significantly, and at the same time we’ve continued to invest in top-level security, responsive customer service, and many features to help practices save time and operate more smoothly. The update allows us to keep building on that progress and continue improving Zanda while keeping costs fair and competitive - now and in the future.
🔸 How will this change affect my practice?
From April 2026, legacy plans will move to our new value-based pricing model. Your exact plan and pricing depends on your number of practitioners and appointment volume, as well as your location and currency. For some practices, this will mean an increase in subscription fees, while for others, the subscription fees will be reduced.
Customers will be emailed to outline the likely changes to your account - however please note that your actual plan and price will depend on your usage of Zanda at the time of the update.
🔸 What if I don't receive an email?
Only the master user for customers on legacy pricing will receive an email.
If you don't receive an email but believe you should, it may be because you have opted out of emails. Please contact our support team for assistance.
🔸 Why isn’t the Starter Plan available to my practice?
The Starter Plan is designed for practices just starting out. We've defined this as a single-practitioner practice with less than 1,000 appointments (individual and group) - regardless of how long it takes to get to that threshold. If your practice is larger, the Growth Plan is a better fit to support your needs.
🔸 How are appointments counted - to qualify for the Starter Plan?
The Starter Plan is meant to help new practices get up and running. Practices can use this plan while they have only 1 practitioner and for their first 1,000 appointments. This is a lifetime limit but it doesn't matter whether you reach that threshold in 3 months or 3 years. We do not include any Personal appointments or Imported appointments in this count.
🔸 Will I need to take any action to move plans?
No action is required from you. We’ll move your subscription automatically to the correct plan in April 2026. Your data, settings, and integrations will remain exactly as they are.
🔸 Will my data or account setup be affected by the transition?
No. Your data and setup will remain unchanged. The only change is to your subscription pricing.

🔸 Is this change related to the name change from Power Diary to Zanda?
No. As you will remember, in November 2024, Power Diary changed our name to Zanda. This was done alongside some branding changes (colors and logo) and some face-lifts to the app (which are always ongoing). However, there has not been any change to the company structure or ownership or anything else that would impact pricing decisions. This is simply the reality of doing business - from time to time, prices need to increase or be realigned.
