Grouping Reports

Refine your Zanda reports by grouping data.

Some of Zanda reports can be grouped by column headings which is great for refining the information that you see in these reports.

❇️ Here you can see an example of the Clients Appointments report grouped by the 'Clients' column. It allows you to easily see how many appointments each client had in the selected period of time:

Here is how you can group reports:

  1. Navigate to the report in the Reports section, for example, Reports > Clients > Appointments. 
  2. Set up the report filters to get the data you need.
  3. Run the report.

☑️ A report with the grouping functionality will have an area above the main content with the text 'Drag a column here to group by that column':

4. Now you will be able to group the generated report by any column you need. With your mouse cursor, grab the column header and drag it to that designated area marked by the text 'Drag a column here to group by that column:

5. Once you drop the column header to that area, the report will be grouped. You can click the little arrow symbol next to each entry to unfurl it and see more details.

6. Click the 'X' next to the column header name to ungroup the report:
