Memberships

Create and manage client memberships in Zanda. Add memberships to client profiles, set billing cycles and durations, and track expirations.

If you want to enroll your clients into a monthly membership, either for services or any other purpose, you can create such membership in Zanda and add it to your clients' profiles.

💡 Important Note about Memberships

The Memberships feature in Zanda is designed for record-keeping and reporting purposes only. It allows you to create and manage membership details, such as name, description, amount, billing cycle, duration, and expiry, and to assign these memberships to client profiles.

However, the Memberships feature does not include automatic payment or recurring billing functionality. Any related payments must be processed manually through the Sales or Payments sections.

This means that while you can track when memberships start, end, and how much they cost, Zanda will not automatically charge clients or renew memberships.

Creating a Membership

  1. Go to Settings > Billing > Memberships.
  2. Click + Add Memberships.
  3. Type in the name of your membership and its description along with the amount, billing cycle, duration of the memberships and the period.
  4. Once done, click Save.

Applying a Membership to a Client's Profile

  1. Open a client's profile.
  2. Navigate to Billing > Billing Setup.
  3. Turn the Membership switch on.
  4. Select from the list of memberships you've already created.
  5. Set the Rate and Duration.
  6. Click Save Changes once done.

This will now keep a record of when a client's membership is set, the price charged, and when it expires.

Membership Expiry Report

Once you've completed the above, you'll be able to use the Membership Expiry Report to identify when these memberships expire. Just navigate to Reports > Clients > Membership Expiry.

The report lets you see a full report that includes the client name, their mobile number, the membership type they have, and their membership expiry date.
