Using Practitioner Groups

Organize your calendar by grouping practitioners in Zanda.

You can create "Groups" to organize practitioners in the calendar view based on their profession or the types of appointments they offer. This allows you to focus solely on the practitioners within a specific group when viewing the calendar.

For instance, if you operate an Allied Health Practice and a client inquires about an appointment with a psychologist, you can switch to the "Psychologists" group to display only those practitioners. This targeted view helps you concentrate on the relevant practitioners without the distraction of others. It also benefits new reception staff who may not yet be familiar with the various roles of each practitioner.

There are no restrictions on the number of Groups you can establish, so feel free to be creative. While the example above utilizes profession-based groupings, you can create groups that align with your business needs, such as "Available After Hours," "Works with Children," or "Bulk Billing."

To Set Up Practitioner Groups:

          1. Go to Settings > Team >  Practitioners and select Groups from the side menu.
              2. Select

              3. Give your Group a name, i.e. "Psychologists".
              4. Select the practitioners that are part of the group.
              5. Click
    ✓ Save.

    To Use Practitioner Groups:

      3. You can return to displaying all practitioners by selecting "All Practitioners".
